At Penruddock Primary School we are committed to working with our partners in a number of other agencies to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and their families.
The school's SENDCo is Mrs Natalie Horner (Acting Headteacher) and can be contacted via the school office on firstname.lastname@example.org
Cumbria's Local Offer website provides a wealth of information to support families who have a child or young person with SEND. The website link is localoffer.cumbria.gov.uk and will provide links to a whole host of agencies who can offer support.
If we feel that your child would benefit from support from other local agencies, we may ask you to discuss an "Early Help Assessment" for your child. This is a supportive process which will involve school, the family and external agencies in order to provide the highest level support for your child. At the bottom of this page is a useful link about the Early Help process which will explain how we will work to ensure that your family are at the heart of any decisions made about your child's learning.
