In September 2015, Penruddock Primary School extended its age range to include 3 year old children, taking over responsibility for Early Years education in Penruddock from Penruddock and Greystoke Preschool Nursery.

Nursery children attend our lower unit led and taught by Mrs Natalie Horner and Mrs Lauren Jackson. Sessions run daily from 9.00am until 12.00pm and 1.00 until 3.30pm. There is also an option to pay for a supervised lunch club which enables children to attend full day sessions.  Alongside Mrs Horner and Mrs Jackson, our youngest children are supported by a number of dedicated and experienced staff. We are extremely lucky to have staff with a vast amount of early years experience through training and CPD. Mrs Calvert is our Senior Teaching Assistant who works alongside a team of teaching assistants - Mrs Guy, Mrs Capstick, Mrs Wilson and Mrs Gardner.

We have been delighted to welcome children from three years old into school and extend our Penruddock Primary School family. We are committed to supporting our local community through the provision of high quality Early Years education and the development of the foundation stage is high on our school improvement plans.
