Blencathra Class Homework!

Reading their Little Wandle book for the week for Reception, Year 1 and 2.

Year 1 & 2 'heart words' (Common Exception Words) spellings check on Wednesday. Spellings homework will be set on Google Classroom on Wednesday.

The children will also receive a piece of homework on a Friday, alongside independent work they can do using the apps Doodle Learning, Purple Mash and some children have Lexia. 

PE in Blencathra Class 

PE sessions will take place outside for as long as the weather allows us. Please ensure your child has the correct PE kit.

Our timetabled days for the Spring Term are Tuesday PM and Thursday AM. We may also have extra PE sessions so please have your PE kit in school every day.

We are also restarting our Forest School Sessions, please check the school calendar.

Blencathra Notices

In Class 1 we like to be prepared for every type of weather, please remember:

• a waterproof coat.
• you can bring wellies in a bag and leave them in your locker.
• if sunny, bring a sun hat and sun cream.

Don't forget:

• to bring a water bottle every day.
• your PE kit everyday.
• Plasters to cover earrings for PE.
