Welcome to Class 2!

Here you will find information about Helvellyn class.

Timetable: Mrs Johnson teaches in Helvellyn on Mondays and Tuesdays and Miss O'Donnell teaches in Helvellyn on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

PE: Our PE swimming lessons are on Wednesday mornings. Our PE session is on a Thursday afternoon.

Please ensure your child has their PE/swimming kit in school on these days.

Homework: Homework will be given on a Friday, and should be returned by the following Wednesday.

Spellings: Spellings will be tested on a Thursday. Your child should learn 5 spellings from their list per week. If they get some incorrect, they will revisit these ones until they have learnt them. The children will write the 5 spellings they are focusing on on their homework sheet, which they will bring home on a Friday. The children also record their spelling score for that week's spellings. 

Times Tables: Times Tables will be learnt and tested on the 'Times Tables Rock Stars' programme.

Information about this can be found in your child's homework book.

Reading: Please read with your child as much as possible, this really helps them to get more confident!
