Science Weeks 2017

We had an amazing two weeks exploring the different jobs we could have when we grow up which involved the use of Science.

Our first visitor was Steven the Geologist. He told us all about his visit to the land of fire and ice and showed us real volcanic rock. We made our own volcanoes too! Then we had a wonderful workshop with Mrs Bent and the Sixth formers from QEGS.

We learnt about the use of art within the role of an artist. We had visits from Sam the vet from Paragon and Kerry, a paediatric children's nurse. 

Thank you to all our visitors, the children had a brilliant time!
