Summer Term 2023: Our Precious Planet
Our theme for Summer 2023 is 'Our Precious Planet.' We'll be studying the impact of climate change on different environments around the world, and the ways in which we can play our own part to help our planet.
We'll learn about sustainability, and the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling waste, rather than sending it to landfill. We will learn about the impact of plastics on our oceans.
We will learn about the positive impact of conservation projects globally and locally and how we can enhance our own local environment to encourage wildlife and protect fragile ecosystems.
Our Million Acts of Kindness to Nature Project - Summer 2023
As part of our work on our precious planet we've joined BBC Countryfile in their mission to complete one million acts of kindness to nature. Class 3 set themselves the project of revitalising the pond area at school, they made a great start, we look forward to seeing our garden grow and attract wildlife over the coming weeks and months!
